Manufacturer information

Designed by Helga Isager, this chic vest is knitted from the bottom up. The work is divided for the front and back pieces at the armholes. The shoulders and back are finished with ribbing, and shortened rows are worked at the shoulders.
Along the armholes, stitches are picked up and knitted; the ribbed edges are knitted and chained off using the Italian method.

Each KIT contains the amount of wool needed to complete the project in the selected size.

MATERIAL:
250 (300) g Isager Yarn Alpaca 3 (50% alpaca, 50% new wool) here in colour 0.
100 (150) g Isager Yarn Spinni (100% new wool) in here colour 6s

Alpaca 3: 50% alpaca / 50% virgin wool
Spinni: 100% virgin wool

SIZE:
Half chest circumference: 53 (61.5) cm
Total length: 52 (57) cm

SIZES
Note the large jump between the 2 sizes. This is because the pattern repeat is 12 sts and the shape of the waistcoat follows the pattern repeat. Also note that size S/M with its deep armholes can be worn by a size L person if they want a close fitting waistcoat.
For a smaller waistcoat (size XS) knit only one ball of Alpaca 3 with a 6 mm needle and follow the size S/M. This gives a half bust measurement of 49.5 cm.
For a larger waistcoat (size XXL - XXXL) knit with Isager Alpaca 2 instead of Isager Spinni with a 7 mm needle following size M/L. This will give a half chest circumference of 66.5 cm.

RECOMMENDED NEEDLE SIZE:
6 mm and 6.5 mm crochet hook size 5
