The Maggie Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is worked with increases. Then the shoulder sections are worked from stitches picked up on the upper back. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders and the remaining yoke and body are knitted in rows on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round on double pointed needles or using the magic loop method. Finally, trims are knitted along the front edges and around the neckline.
Each wool pack contains the amount of yarn needed to complete the project in the selected size.
The instructions are not included.
Knit a gauge swatch first to determine the correct needle size for you. Wash the swatch before you measure it.

The Maggie Cardigan should have a range of movement (positive ease) of approx. 5 cm.
The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm.
The measurements of the finished cardigan can be found on the front page. Please note: These measurements only apply if the gauge swatch is followed. Measure yourself first before you start the actual knitting to find the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S.
A cardigan in size S has a chest circumference of 96 cm and in this case would have a room to move (positive ease) of 6 cm.
