You've probably seen the big white book Sequence Knitting in our shop: 387 pages and has a weight of 2 kg! This great book is about purl and knit stitches and the effect these simple stitches can achieve.
This splendid copy was published in 2015 and is still up to date. A great reference book! Knitting was a casual pastime until she had an ah-ha moment in 2010 and realized that interesting textured fabrics could be created by the simple repetition of a sequence of stitches.
This idea evolved and led to her writing Sequence Knitting, which is a reference book about this mindful approach to knitting. In the years since Sequence Knitting debuted, she has continued to develop new ideas in knitting.
Sequence Knitting is about texture, and her second book Making Marls is about color. Making marls, the combining of multiple threads into one, is an old technique, but one that has rarely been written about as an important technique in hand knitting.
We highly recommend both books and you should not miss the opportunity to take this course with her.
