The shawl Skarn from Evgeniya Dupliy in the book 52 weeks of Shawls is knitted in Seeded Rib Stich. "Cold weather, wild nature and rustic yarn inspired Evgeniya when she was designing the Skarn shawl. She wanted to create a perfect accessory for cold days. The triangular shawl is knitted on the bias from one corner to the opposite edge. It alternates between sections of seeded rib stitch and sections with purled stitch parallelograms. The parallelogram pattern reminded Evgeniya of a geological phenomenon called “skarn” that are coarse-grained metamorphic rocks" FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Wingspan: 81” / 206 cm. Centre Depth: 31” / 78 cm In this yarn kit you will receive the amount of Lamauld to knit this beauty. The English pattern is NOT included and you will find it in the book 52 Weeks of Shawls.
