The Olga Sweater is worked from the top down with stripes. First, the upper part of the back is worked in rows, while the shoulder slopes are shaped using short rows. At the same time, the stripe pattern is knitted. The shoulders are then worked separately on a circular needle. These are then joined at the front to form the front. The front and back are joined to form the body, which is worked in rounds with stripes on a circular needle. The sleeves are made from stitches picked up around the armholes. The cuff at the neckline is knitted last from picked up sts and folded twice.
Each Yarn Kit contains the amount of yarn needed to complete the project in the selected size.
The pattern is not included.
Size guide:
The Olga Sweater should have a range of movement (positive ease) of approx. 23 cm in the smallest sizes, but increasingly smaller in the larger sizes. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the front of the instructions. Please note: These measurements only apply if the gauge swatch is followed. Measure yourself before you start the actual knitting to find the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 95 cm, you should choose size M. A sweater in size M has a chest circumference of 118 cm and in this case would have a range of motion (positive ease) of 23 cm.
