When a knitter pours hours of love and care into their work, the finished piece naturally deserves the very best care. ISAGER has developed its own wool soap to ensure that your knitwear receives the loving care it deserves. ISAGER wool soap contains no lanolin and is therefore particularly suitable for washing knitwear containing alpaca. Unlike sheep’s wool, alpaca fibres are hollow inside. If you wash alpaca wool with soap containing lanolin, it will lose its lightness over time as the hollow spaces in the fibres become filled with lanolin. ISAGER Wool Soap, on the other hand, ensures that the alpaca wool retains its lightness.
The soap can be used for all types of wool and is also very suitable as a mild detergent for non-wool yarns such as Isager Trio and Isager Bomulin.
If you wish to add a fragrance to the soap, you can add a few drops of essential oil.
