Pinta is made from 100% natural fibres. Originally designed as a sock yarn, Pinta quickly proved that it is capable of much more. It is a true all-rounder, perfect for knitting a wide variety of garments and accessories.
It stands out from other yarns thanks to its unique fibre blend: 60% merino, 20% silk and 20% ramie. The merino wool comes from Patagonia. It is, of course, mulesing-free and certified to the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard). The mulberry silk content gives Pinta a silky sheen and smoothness. Ramie is another very special fibre that gives Pinta its durability. This eco-friendly fibre from the nettle family is known for its length and robustness, making it a good alternative to synthetic fibres.
Thanks to its thermoregulatory properties, Pinta is the perfect all-season yarn. No matter how warm it is – with Pinta, you’ll feel fresh all day long. Garments made from Pinta are also virtually crease-free thanks to the highly elastic fibres. Thanks to its special fibre combination, Pinta is very flexible, drapes softly against your body and doesn’t scratch at all! The hypoallergenic yarn is gentle and soft against your skin.
