This beautiful natural raffia is made of paper, but is still water resistant. The innovative production process makes it possible to produce virtually endless "threads" that, unlike conventional natural raffia, which always has a very short run, can be made into larger knitted and crocheted pieces without knotting. Suitable for crocheted or knitted hats, bags or placemats/coverlets. Very nice also to combine with several colors. Note: raffia crochets differently than wool or cotton.
