With its softness and brushed feel, ECO SOFT has become very popular and Isager has decided to introduce a similar but finer version. ISAGER SOFT is a tubular cotton yarn that incorporates alpaca fibres and can only be produced as a thick yarn. ISAGER SOFT FINE has a silk core to which a strand of alpaca and yak is added as a loop bouclé, which is then finally brushed into a fluffy yarn. Even though the production and fibres of Isager Soft are different, we find a certain similarity in the texture of the two yarns. ISAGER SOFT FINE contains yak wool, and the depth of the colours comes from the dark colour of the yak wool - just as we know it from the S-colours of white and black wool. Its softness is comparable to that of silk mohair, but knitting with this yarn is a completely different experience, especially when knitting with just one skein.
