In this workshop, the intarsia technique meets one- or two-colour brioche. You will look at both knitting techniques in detail with Anna and learn how they can be knitted together. The result is a particularly exciting combination of three-dimensional ribs, vertical lines and colourful motifs.
Anna Husemann is a textile and knitting designer from Hamburg. Her work revolves around the interaction of colour, form and material, which she implements primarily in the intarsia knitting technique.
The Silvatica scarf published in PomPom Magazine No. 38 beautifully demonstrates this technique. Her book Intarsia Knits has recently been published. You can find more of Anna's work on Instagram at @anna_husemann, on her website www.plysh.com or at ravelry.
Previous knowledge: good basic knowledge of knitting
