Woolia - the new, sustainable merino yarn for needle sizes from 4 to 6 mm.
This yarn is made from the wool of a very special breed of sheep: the Merino Gentile di Puglia.
The sheep and lambs mainly graze between fruit and olive trees on organically managed plantations and extensive areas. Woolia is spun from the wool of lambs and sheep of this original Italian Merino breed.
Woolia is correspondingly soft and completely free from peeling.
This means that jumpers, even when knitted in cables or fair isle, will be lightweight.
When you feel the wool for the first time, you will probably find it a little dry. This is a characteristic of this merino wool. This is also the characteristic that gives the yarn its great lightness and ensures that knitted pieces made from Woolia retain their shape regardless of the needle size. Another feature is that Woolia does not scratch, but retains a very beautiful surface.

Needle size: 5.5 mm / 16 sts suitable for cable patterns, fair isle and slightly loose stitches.
Needle size: 5 mm / 17 sts suitable for all types of jumpers.
Needle size: 4.5 mm / 18 sts suitable for long coats, jumpers that are subject to heavy wear, etc.
Needle size 4 mm: 19 m = 10 cm, especially for hard-wearing knitwear, cushions and other sturdy knitwear.
